Well, the inevitable has happened: Rip Hamilton finally got hurt.
Hamilton appeared to land awkwardly after throwing an entry pass to Carlos Boozer in the third quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers. He was taken back to the locker room and diagnosed with a mild foot sprain. He would return at the end of the fourth quarter and make three out of four free throws in the final 15 seconds to ice the game for the Bulls.
Odds are Rip won't miss any significant time, but it's hard to say. And he'll probably have his minutes limited for the next few games, but we don't actually know anything at this point.
Anyway, this will almost certainly not be the last time this kind of post appears on the site. Check back for a full recap of the Bulls 93-88 win tomorrow.
