Chicago Bulls 100, Milwaukee Bucks 94: the Little Point Guard That Could

Hey, the Chicago Bulls are back at .500 for the preseason! That's exciting!

(Not really. As per usual, preseason doesn't matter. On to the game.)

1) Triple Double-Double

Preseason games, of course, don't matter, so preseason statistics DEFINITELY don't matter. That being said, Nate Robinson, Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer — yes, that Carlos Boozer — all recorded double-doubles. Nate had 24 points and 13 assists with not a single turnover — !!! — starting in place of Kirk Hinrich, who sat with a wrist injury. Noah had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Boozer put up 10 and 10, although he turned it over four times and shot 3/9 from the field.

Oh, and Rip Hamilton scored 23 points on 9/14 from the field. It's just too bad he has about two weeks before he starts getting injured again.

2) Big Macs!

Fans at the United Center were treated to the first free Big Macs of the year after Boozer drained a pair of free throws with 20 seconds left to push the Bulls to the century mark. Hopefully it's the first of many, but don't hold your breath.

3) Bench Mob Vista jokes on hold…for now.

Due to their semi-competent play in the first half, I have suspended all Bench Mob Vista jokes for the time being. But they will return if they go back to playing poorly. So there's that.

Have a nice night. The Bulls will be back in action on Friday.
