Rose took X-Ray's after the game and they thankfully came back negative, but he was in a lot of pain and could not lift his left arm above his head. Even so, Rose thinks he will be okay.
"It's a bruise, but I'm good," Rose said. "I just got knocked off, but I'm fine. It has happened before so I should be all right. It's just like any other time you fall. You're going to be sore. Thank God we don't play (Thursday) and I can rest." (Chicago Tribune)
Rose was asked whether he would be able to go on Friday in Orlando, but he said it was too early to know for sure.
"Way too early," he said. "It felt good before I went to the bench and then it was kind of sore and throbbing a little bit. But I'm alright." (Chicago Tribune)
Rose will likely be very sore over the next few days, but I find it hard to believe that he would miss the Magic game. He's a tough guy and that's a game I imagine Rose wants to play in. Going up against Dwight Howard in the lane will likely put that elbow at further risk, but again, Rose is not a guy who will back down from a challenge.
